Kelsey + Mason's Cottage Wedding

OKAYYYYY Let’s talk about the most epic wedding! Kelsey and Mason didn’t skip a beat with a wedding that was true to THEM!

Kelsey and Mason locked in their wedding vows at The Cottage at Riverbend. This venue was nothing less than stunning, and totally let them have full control of decor and wedding day events. For starters, Kelsey and Mason like to party. So when I shot their engagement photos, I knew it was going to be a wild one. Before we jump into the reception we can’t miss getting ready photos and of course the ceremony.

Kelsey and all of her amazing bridesmaids got ready together. The Cottage at River Bend made for the most picturesque champagne pop! After getting ready with the girls, it was time for the First look with her father. She gifted him a tie with the sweetest message on the reverse. Nothing brings me to tears like a first look with Dad. Kelsey’s dad didn’t disappoint, he was full of the happiest tears and biggest smile.

Kelsey and Mason also did a first look and private vows. Their vows had me laughing and crying. One of my favorite things to photograph. Nothing gets more real when you are making promises to the person you are about to marry. It’s just so freaking SWEET!

Kelsey had the privilege of being walked down the aisle by first her step-dad, then finished the walk down the aisle with her Dad. The ceremony was short and so sweet. The couple was married by Mason’s grandfather who shared some of the most beautiful words of advice and encouragement. He brought so much laughter and joy to the ceremony.

The reception was LIT!!!! Kelsey and Mason went all out with an open bar, Photo-booth, keg, and a CIGAR BAR!! Like what?! Have you ever seen a bride do a keg stand? I have, and its one of the best things I’ve seen at a wedding. Needless to say, the dance floor was popping.. It was so popping that the party didn’t stop until about midnight. And a side note to anyone considering The Cottage at Riverbend, you CAN party until midnight! So if that suits your fancy, I would highly consider this venue. The couple made a grand exit with Boise State colored Pom Poms! The Dance floors created a tunnel and cheered for the couple as they made their way to the grass to have their last dance under the pouring rain! (Just a literal dream)

So grateful to have been with them on their journey into marriage! Cheers to Kelsey and Mason for having the most epic wedding!
